The Altar Worship Center exists to DISPLAY LOVE, DEVELOP DISCIPLES, & DISCOVER PURPOSES!
Display Love- The mission of The "A" is to display how incredibly awesome the Love of Christ is. It is accepting everyone no matter who they are or what they have done. It is being authentic and approachable, putting others before ourselves. It is generously giving to those in need, Listening to those who need understanding, and Working with excellence. It is loving the unlovable, giving hope to the hopeless and serving unceasingly so that people may see the goodness and faithfulness of Christ in us.
Develop Disciples- Our assignment is to Develop Disciples. It is an enjoyable atmosphere with teachings that are Biblical and relevant, equipping every believer with the tools needed for growth and stability. It is powerful worship, creating moments to praise, honor and get joyful about the God of the universe. It is focusing on every age group, knowing that from infancy throughout childhood, into the teen years, and growing to adult hood each moment is an important growing experience. It is connecting as a spiritual family, forming life long relationships, and walking beside each other throughout every rise and fall of life. It is encouraging believers to know God not just on Sunday mornings, but as a consistent and growing relationship in their every day lives.
Discover Purposes- We desire to assist in Discovering the purposes of every individual in their unique calling in life. It is uncovering the heart of the person and then developing that passion into a way they can be used for God's glory. It is creating leaders out of the followers and the non committed. It is empowering people to serve more willingly, give more freely, and go more globally. It is motivating them to reach beyond the comfortable and the norm to achieve their God given goal. It is unearthing that God given potential that has the power to transform ourselves, our city, and the world.
Ephesians 5:25-27 "Christ LOVED the church and gave Himself up for her, to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to Himself as a radiant church."
